Savanadurga is one of the most sort after trekking destinations. Not only because it is the largest monolith of the world it also has several touristic spots to stand by and admire on the way. The mountains are surrounded by deciduous forest which have several wildlife areas. There are in all 59 trees and 119 shrubs species here. The mountains offer trekking at 1226 meters. You can also indulge in rock climbing and nature walk at Savandurga. The best time to come here is during the summers or just after monsoons.
